Portico clock in white marble, black marble and finely chiseled mercury gilded bronze, with two Corinthian columns surmounted by an entablature supporting four flower vases. Ornament of wreaths of flowers and leaves of laurel, foliage and pearls, pendulum in sun of Rhodes. A large white enamel dial signed "Caillaud à Paris" with black Roman numerals, all topped by a golden eagle with spread wings holding a snake in its talons. The base is decorated with a mercury-gilded bronze bas-relief decorated with playing cherubs. The wire suspension movement works perfectly, the mechanism is complete.
